Development Tree Surveys & Reports

Development Tree Surveys & Reports

When developments have trees within or adjacent to the site, the Local Planning Authority will usually ask for an Arboricultural Report to mitigate any impact the development may have on the trees.

Plans may be required along with on-site monitoring throughout the process to ensure a successful development outcome.

An initial tree survey to BS5837 will usually be required along with an Arboricultural Impact Assessment and Tree constrains Plan. From here Tree Protection Plan can be created and Method statements are also often required. And finally, site supervision may be required by an arboriculturalist for some building operations to ensure works are carried out in a manner that does not harm retained trees.

All of these surveys, reports and plans can be created here at PBA Arboricultural Solutions, along with guidance to the process for those who are not seasoned developers, architects or landscape designers.
